Design Process
Initial Meeting - Preparing for success
- We'll talk about your goals, budget, time constraints
- We'll discuss site features
- We'll talk about the content
- Meetings after the Initial Meeting can be by phone or email
Second Meeting - Your site's new style
- We'll go over the basic design, how the pages will work together. We'll discuss what you like and what you don't like.
- We'll go over our working agreement which will outline what we expect of each other including establishing a timeline: a date I should expect materials from you and a target date to publish your new site to the internet. Once you sign the agreement and discuss payment details we can move forward.
- Content is the most important aspect of your site, and as such it is often the hardest to get together. If you need help, I'm here! Need help with writing? How about photos?
Additional Meetings - Getting it right
- If your site is complex, we run into snags, or you have additional ideas, we'll keep the communication lines open.
Testing & Preview - Get ready, get set...
- We will put a password-protected preview of your site online for you to review before the launch.
- We test rigorously on Macs and PCs in the following browsers: Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome, Opera, and Camino.
The Launch - The reward for all the hard work!
- When your site meets your approval and payments have been settled, we'll publish it to the internet!
- After your new site goes online, I'll still be there to help you if the need arises.
